Wolters Comes Up Big To Guide Blizzard

Reserve Kara Wolters scored 14 of her 20 points in the second half Thursday night to lift the New England Blizzard to a 79-63 ABL victory over the Portland Power.

Carolyn Jones scored 26 for the Blizzard, 16 in the first half, as New England built a 39-27 lead.

Wolters, a 6-foot-7 former Connecticut star, scored 10 in the final quarter to end a Portland rally.
