Racing Pair Punished

Owner-driver Phil Parsons and crew chief Gene Nead have been penalized by NASCAR because of a fight last week at Darlington, S.C.

Nead got into an altercation with NASCAR Busch Series driver Blaise Alexander - a follow-up to an on-track run-in between Parsons and Alexander during the race on March 15 at Nashville, Tenn.

Nead was fined and suspended. Parson was fined. Both were put on probation by NASCAR.
