Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m., Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. Topics include: final 2005 budget hearing, utility tax ordinance.

Spokane Valley ad hoc library committee

7 p.m., Wednesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. The group will decide which contractor it will recommend to be awarded the future library services contract.

Spokane Valley community comprehensive plan meeting

6:30 p.m., Thursday, Pratt Elementary School, 6903 E. Fourth Ave. The public is encouraged to give input on the city’s draft of the 20-year land-use plan.
