Kim Lytle The Spokesman-Review

A movie star in the making, this young guy sat for his picture as soon as he saw the camera come out. No coaxing, luring or begging was required. Sarge is a young male who acts more mature than other dogs his age. He walks very gently on the leash, is eager to play with other dogs but will also lie quietly by your feet when there is nothing going on. He has had some training somewhere along the way. He will easily sit when asked.

Sarge was found wandering around Third and Altamont when he was brought to SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. about two weeks ago. His assessment card says Sarge is an “absolutely fabulous boy” who loves all humans, highly motivated to work and train and a great dog for first time dog owners.

If you want to meet Sarge, you can visit SpokAnimal at 710 N Napa St. The telephone number is 534-8133. SpokAnimal is open seven days a week. Adoption fees are $79.50 and include neuter, rabies vaccine, license and microchip. Purebreds and small dogs are slightly more.
