Leading community benefactors sought

The Spokesman-Review

Here’s a chance to recognize community do-gooders.

Avista Utilities and the Spokane Chiefs have teamed up each month to recognize one person who has positively affected Spokane.

The “Avista Community MVP” winners receive a $100 gift from Avista and a Spokane Chiefs autographed hockey jersey. The winner also is recognized at center ice before a Chiefs game.

To nominate someone, go to www.spokanechiefs.com and click on the contest link on the bottom right of the homepage.

Ballots also can be picked up at Guest Services at the Spokane Arena during Chiefs games.

Nominators are asked to write something about the person. Those nominated don’t have to be involved in sports.
