“Playing the market” takes on new meaning for two college teams who are participating in The Spokesman-Review’s first S-R Stock Stars investing contest.
The teams from Washington State University and the University of Idaho have selected five stocks each from among the 48 listed on the Spokesman-Review’s Stocks of Local Interest chart. We’ll follow their selections for three months and see whose portfolio has the greatest percentage increase at the end of the first quarter.
