Becca Noble: A must-see
In 22 years of coaching, I have never watched an athlete as talented as Becca Noble (Rogers track and field). She competes well in any race, but until you have seen her run a 400, you have not really had the “Becca experience.”
Someone can tell you what it is like to watch her, but you have to see it for yourself. In the open 400, she powers around the track. But it is the 1,600-meter relay where her competitive fire is most obvious. She runs the final leg, and people predict she can’t make up the ground she has to make up. Yet she always does. I have seen her run down some of Spokane’s best 400-meter runners. Last year at the state track meet, she closed 50 yards on the teams in front of her, and Rogers won the race on a lean.
Through all her great accomplishments, she has remained a humble, unassuming, awesome young lady. If you have not seen her run yet, you are almost out of time because she is a senior. Make the effort to go watch Becca run. You won’t regret it.
