Flower Show – The Inland Empire District of Garden Clubs will present this show that features holiday gems, educational displays and much more. Today, 1-7 p.m.; Friday, 1-3:30 p.m. at the The Waterford Retirement Community, 2929 S. Waterford Drive. 448-1726.

28th Annual Home & Yard Show – Presented by Jim Custer Enterprises, this year’s event will feature displays and demonstrations with home and yard related products, services and improvements. Includes special attractions of flowers, trees and waterfalls. Feb. 23, noon-9 p.m. Feb. 24, noon-9 p.m. Feb. 25, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Feb. 26. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Spokane County Fair & Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St. $6 for adults, kids 12 and under, free. 924-0588.

Garden Expo 2006 – More than 200 garden-related vendors will be at this expo presented by the Inland Empire Gardeners. May. 13. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Spokane Community College Lair, 1810 N. Greene St. 535-8434.
