Feature creature

Marian Wilsoncorrespondent The Spokesman-Review

Silver is a fine-papered specimen of an elegant breed. She deserved better than banishment to a cold garage with bladder symptoms that were left untreated for years. She is now fully cured and shows no signs of aging except slightly decreased hearing. If you agree that this intelligent, obedient creature has earned the right to some pampering, call Second Chance Pet Rescue at 664-4106 or visit www.secondchancepetrescue.petfinder.com.

Help the animals

Second Chance Pet Rescue is desperately seeking an organized person(s) to help finalize and execute the Fun Run at Farragut State Park. This is the group’s major annual fund-raiser, and all proceeds are returned directly to the community in the form of care for rescued animals and spay and neuter programs. If you can help, contact Nikki at 664-4106.
