Burglar hits dentist office

The Spokesman-Review

A dentist on South Pines was robbed of six computers, 13 electric toothbrushes, two shotguns, 3 ounces of gold and several other items Sunday, police said.

Jay Clark, whose office is at 20 S. Pines Road, told police that morning that someone had entered through an unsecured door after midnight, according to a news release from sheriff’s Sgt. Dave Reagan.

Among the items reported stolen were a 12-gauge shotgun, a 20-gauge shotgun, five Dell computers, a laptop computer, a stereo, two copy/fax machines, credit card billing statements and petty cash.

Police have several items they believe were handled by the burglar. Also, they are asking anyone with information on the crime to call them at 242-TIPS.
