A: May 15-Sept. 15, although it end sooner if weather cooperates. Crews will fix the north side of the viaduct this year and the south side next year.

A: $13 million.

Q: How will it impact me?

A: You’d better plan for more drive time. Traffic will be congested on Interstate 90 because it will be reduced to two lanes from Division to Maple. Vehicles will initially drive in existing lanes, but ultimately both directions of traffic will be moved onto the north side of the freeway. Lane changes will be prohibited.

Parking underneath the freeway may be restricted.

Spokane Transit Authority’s Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake bus routes will leave five minutes earlier.

Q: Which downtown exits and on-ramps are open?

A: Westbound Hamilton Street, Second Avenue, Division Street and Maple exits; westbound Hamilton and Maple Street on-ramps; eastbound Maple and Hamilton exits; and the eastbound Browne and Hamilton on-ramps.

Q: Which downtown exits and on-ramps are closed?

A: The westbound Lincoln Street exit; westbound Browne Street and Monroe/Jefferson streets on-ramp; the eastbound Division Street exit; and the eastbound Maple Street and Monroe Street on-ramps.

Q: What is the speed limit in the project area?

A: 45 mph between Highway 195 and Hamilton Street, 55 mph for eastbound traffic from Sunset Hill to Highway 195.
