Kootenai County has a backlog of more than 3,400 active warrants. Officials are asking the public for information about the following people, identified by name, age, last known city of residence, the charge and the bond amount on the warrant. If you have information, please contact the Sheriff’s Department at (208) 446-1300.

Felonies

Forrest H. Emehiser – 21, Post Falls, aggravated assault, $50,000 bond.

Robert E. Gilbert Jr. – 40, Deer Park, bigamy, $2,500 bond.

Pamela S. Leckner – 53, Coeur d’Alene, grand theft, $25,000 bond.

Kenny D. Meligan – 34, Kellogg, burglary, grand theft, malicious injury to property, $50,000 bond.

Alfredo S. Rodriguez – 45, Coeur d’Alene, rape, $50,000 bond.

Misdemeanors

Thomas E. Briggs – 25, Coeur d’Alene, failure to appear/petty theft, $1,000 bond.

Mackenzie R. Cooper – 19, Coeur d’Alene, failure to appear/possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, one day in jail.

James R. Covert – 25, Coeur d’Alene, failure to appear/domestic battery, $5,000 bond.

Bryan J. Hassan – 20, Rathdrum, failure to appear/domestic battery (two counts), $7,500 bond.

Martine E. Jensen – 39, Bonners Ferry, failure to appear/driving under the influence, driving while suspended, four days in jail, no bond.

Sidney J. Malar III – 39, Post Falls, failure to appear/driving under the influence, $5,000 bond.

Lawrence R. Pierce – 40, Wallace, driving under the influence, $2,000 bond.

Joshua D. Ramsey – 21, Athol, failure to appear/malicious injury to property, $2,500 bond.

Jacob R. Rocha – 22, Coeur d’Alene, failure to appear/battery, $5,000 bond.

Jerry L. Rodriguez – 21, Hauser Lake, invalid driver’s license, $500 bond.

Jason H. Schooler

– 28, Coeur d’Alene, failure to provide proof of insurance, driving while suspended, $1,000 bond.

Michael A. Varni – 24, Coeur d’Alene, driving while suspended, $500 bond.

Tina L. Waterman – 35, Spirit Lake, petty theft, $2,000 bond.

Paul I. Wintin – 23, Coeur d’Alene, failure to appear/obstructing, two days in jail.
