Gonzaga women place third

LOMPOC, Calif. – The Gonzaga women’s golf team shot a final-round 317 Tuesday to finish third at the West Coast Conference Championships at La Purisima Golf Course.

Mary Kate Morgan shot a 233 to finish sixth and earned her second straight All-WCC first-team honor.

On the men’s side, Gonzaga’s Trevor Loe and Brandon Crick both shot a final-round 74 to earn a tie for ninth. Pepperdine took the team title with a score of 892 while the Bulldogs finished seventh. Crick was named WCC Freshman of the Year.
