The Spokesman-Review

The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated. If someone you know needs help, contact a local social service agency provider.

“Family of five needs two twin beds or full bed, winter boots boy’s size 10, men’s 6 and women’s 7. Family of three needs a bunk bed set. Contact Traci at ECEAP, 228-5881.

“Single mom with two children needs winter clothes for children, size 0-3 months for boy and 18 month-2 T for girl and development toys. Contact Raquel at Empowering Inc., 768-5886.

“Disabled female needs artist canvas 8x10, 12x16. Disabled female needs a vacuum cleaner with bags. Contact Erica at ALTCEW, 458-2509, ext 261.

“Single mom with child needs a twin or full mattress. Contact Rose at TLC, 325-2959.

“Disabled male needs a frying pan, portable, collapsible grocery cart and a small dresser. Contact Chantel at SNAP, 496-3915.

“Mom with disabled child needs a computer for online classes. Contact Shannon at Early Head Start, 279-6906 or 475-7018.

“Grandmother with two teens need a washer and dryer. Young family needs a couch, TV, double bed, end tables, lamps, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, towels and bedding. Contact Carolyn at American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.
