PASCO – Home never looked better to the Spokane Indians after they completed a winless road trip with a 6-5 loss to the Tri-City Dust Devils Friday night.

The loss was the Indians’ seventh straight, including six on the road, and dropped Spokane (9-15) into a second-place tie with Tri-City behind Boise in the Northwest League’s East Division.

The Indians return home for a three-game set against Yakima beginning tonight at Avista Stadium.

Tri-City went up 6-2 in the sixth inning on Michael Mitchell’s run-scoring single.

The Indians rallied for three runs in the seventh on three singles, including Steve Marquardt’s RBI hit, and sacrifice flies by Timothy Rodriguez and Davis Stoneburner.

Spokane didn’t threaten thereafter, going down 1-2-3 in the final two innings.

Ryan Tatusko (1-1) pitched the first four innings and got the loss, giving up five runs. Two of the runs were unearned, aided by two errors by shortstop Stoneburner.
