Tennessee-bound Angie Bjorklund (University High) finished with seven points and five rebounds Saturday as the USA Women’s U19 team defeated Lithuania 90-50 at the world championships in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The Americans (3-0) advance to the second round Monday against South Korea.

Baseball

Kevin Castner, Brett Brunner and Greg Peavey combined to scatter five singles as the Corvallis Knights (23-13) handed the Spokane RiverHawks (9-27) their 10th consecutive loss, a 6-0 setback in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League play at Goss Stadium in Corvallis, Ore.
