If learning how to knit via your PC or Mac sounds appealing, LetsKnit2gether may be the ticket. Hosts Eric and Cat Susch have created a dozen video podcasts on the basics of knitting, claiming they’ve developed a following of at least 3,200 downloads each episode. Episodes run from five to eight minutes in length.

They start with simple techniques and progress to creating all those things knitters like to make.

Cat Susch sits in a chair and demonstrates key techniques, projects she’s completed or talks about the work of knitters on display at shows.

Her husband, Eric Susch, is the video producer and podcast factotum.

The latest episode’s contents were described this way: “Cat’s spinning experiences since Rhinebeck and a few demonstrations along the way. Our Book Review: Shannon Okey’s ‘Spin to Knit: The Knitters Guide to Making Yarn.’ “

Production quality: Solid.

General ease of use: Good.

Host personality: Crafty.
