Harlee is better off

The Spokesman-Review

I don’t feel any sympathy for the Grahams (“Family dog at the center of a legal storm,” Nov. 9.) Harlee was not microchipped, had no collar, and it took them how long to find out where he was?

If I somehow lost my dog or cat (they are all microchipped, by the way), I would be checking with all the animal shelters every single day.

I’m so glad that SpokAnimal took Harlee in and found a wonderful home for him – and I’d be willing to bet that Harlee now has a microchip!

Shame on the Gonzaga law clinic for the free representation that they will provide to the Graham family.

Thank you to all the staff of the animal shelters in our area.

They all perform a wonderful service to our community, and if you don’t believe it, just go and volunteer at one of these shelters for a couple of days.
