Marlins 8, Mets 7 (10): At Miami, New York twice blew a three-run lead, Florida took advantage of Billy Wagner’s absence to rally in the ninth inning and Dan Uggla hit an RBI double in the 10th that lifted the last-place Marlins over the struggling Mets.

Phillies 7, Nationals 6: At Washington, Jimmy Rollins hit a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth inning after Jayson Werth’s pinch-hit homer helped erase a four-run hole, and Philadelphia rallied to beat the Nationals, keeping the heat on the Mets in the East Division. It was the Phillies’ seventh victory in eight games. They moved within 1 1/2 games of division-leading New York.

Braves 3, Brewers 1: At Atlanta, Jeff Bennett allowed only one run in 5 2/3 innings in his first major league start to lead the Braves to a victory over Milwaukee, keeping the Brewers from moving closer to the first-place Chicago Cubs in the N.L. Central.

Reds 4, Giants 2: At San Francisco, pinch-hitter Jason Ellison hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot against his former team, and Homer Bailey shut down the Giants in Cincinnati’s victory.
