Jazmine Redmon had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and hit 5 of 6 free throws in the fourth quarter to help the Mead Panthers hold off the East Valley Knights 52-48 Tuesday night at Mead.

Redmon also dished out five assists and made four of her five fourth-quarter free throws in the final minute.

Taylor Ingebritsen scored all 11 of her points in the first half when Mead (5-0) jumped out to a 26-15 lead.

Morgan Manchester scored 14 points for East Valley (3-2) and Jenni White added 13 – all in the second half and nine in the third quarter when the Knights outscored the Panthers 18-11.

Shadle Park 59, Gonzaga Prep 40: At Gonzaga Prep, Chelsea Chandler scored 15 points and Lindsay Niemeier added 11 to lead the Highlanders (4-1) past the Bullpups (2-2).

Shadle outscored G-Prep 28-15 in the middle two quarters to extend a modest five-point first-period lead to 18 points after three quarters.

Tia Presley of G-Prep led all scorers with 18 points.

Mt. Spokane 43, University 42: At Mt. Spokane, Averi Hallman scored a layin off an inbounds pass at the buzzer to give the Wildcats (1-3) the victory over the Titans (2-3).

Hallman finished with a team-high 22 points for Mt. Spokane, which led 29-22 at the half.

Chenise Pakootas scored 16 and Ellie Frame scored 10 for U-Hi, which managed to hit just 3 of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter.

Central Valley 63, North Central 32: At North Central, freshman Brooke Galloway scored 18 points and Loree Hill chipped in 12, and the Bears (3-1) had a 48-29 rebounding edge in the victory over the Indians (0-4).

Hilary Harris led NC with eight points.

Ferris 68, Rogers 31: At Rogers, Ashley Lockmer scored 20 points and the Saxons (1-4) cruised to a victory over the Pirates (0-5).

Ferris led 14-4 after one quarter, 32-12 at halftime and 50-19 after three quarters.

Rogers was saddled with 21 turnovers, leading to a surplus of transition points for Ferris.

Brooklyn Smith and Jade Clinkenbeard scored six points apiece to pace Rogers.
