Fairfield City Council – New council members Carl Toetly and Kami Thieren were sworn in. The council discussed upcoming improvements to the community center. They also discussed the development of the Web page. Several applications have been received for the part-time maintenance position and interviews will begin soon. (Source: Town clerk Shelly Wood)

Rockford City Council – Council members are still trying for a grant for the water reservoir. The town has received a $500 grant from the Associated Washington Cities Risk Management Service Agency that will be used to purchase a security camera system to be installed at City Hall.
