The Spokesman-Review

Back-In sponsors appreciated

Spirit Lake Youth Equipped for Success would like to thank our sponsors, Matt’s Auto, All Season Tire, Snap-On, Inland Northwest Bank, 4th & Main Pizza, CarQuest, Silver Lake Manufacturing, TradeMarc Display and Quality Services Inc. for their support of the Big Back-In lawn mower project in Spirit Lake.

Three of our youth participants, Katie Vanderhoof, Ashley Stoneman and Heather Andrist, placed in their divisions. Overall, 19 youth participated in learning mechanical skills to rebuild the mowers, fabrication and design skills to construct the outer shells and teambuilding skills to help carry them across the finish line.

A special Thank You goes out to the tireless efforts of Matt and Debbie Martin, Bob Burns, John Crain and Cam Criswell for their volunteer supervision of this project.
