Reilly sparks Wildcats

Mike Reilly threw four touchdown passes, Ryan Dyer scored on a blocked punt return and Courtney Smith ran a kickoff back 95 yards for a score to lead the 11th-ranked Central Washington Wildcats (2-0) to a 48-14 victory over the Mesa State Mavericks (0-2) on Saturday at Ellensburg.

Reilly finished 17 of 24 for 293 yards with one interception. He also rushed for a team-high 64 yards on eight carries.

Western Oregon 36, Western Washington 27: DJ Jackson rushed for 133 yards and Ben Kuenzi added 84 yards rushing with two TDs to lead the visiting Wolves (1-1, 1-0) to a Great Northwest Athletic Conference win over the Vikings (0-1, 0-1).
