Armed robber holds up Spokane espresso shop

An armed robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money today in a holdup of an espresso business on Spokane’s North Side. The robbery at Jitterz Java, 2315 W. Northwest Blvd., occurred at 6:20 a.m., and the robber fled on foot to the west. The incident may have been captured on video surveillance, police said. No injuries were reported. The suspect was white and about 40 years old. He wore a baseball cap and a bandanna over his mouth.
