Gifts benefit military, families
Global Credit Union will be accepting donations at all of its Spokane and Idaho branches through Oct. 31 for Operation Spokane Heroes.
Operation Spokane Heroes is designed to show community support for the military and their families, developing morale-boosting activities and encouraging businesses to offer discounted goods and services.
This year, OSH has supplied 425 care packages to soldiers overseas, assembled and distributed 300 holiday bags to military children with deployed parents, partnered with the Wounded Warrior Program to collect more than 1,200 pounds of new clothing and more.
