Motorcyclist killed in Stevens County

A motorcycle rider from Kelowna, B.C., was killed Saturday in an accident in Stevens County.

Ralf Pfob, 59, was northbound on state Highway 25 on a 1995 BMW motorcycle about 10 a.m. Andrew J. Postlewait, 39, of Everson, Wash., was southbound in a 2000 Ford pickup, towing a travel trailer. On a curve, Pfob crossed the centerline and hit the pickup, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Postlewait was not injured. Pfob was declared dead at the scene, the WSP said. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, which occurred about five miles south of Hunters, Wash.
