Senseless killing

The Spokesman-Review

I am very unhappy about the trumpeter swan’s death. My class hopes it is not Solo. I would be very sad if it was Solo, because we have been going to Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge for the past three years. We saw him there in a pond with his mate. If people kill the last of the trumpeter swans, our kids and grandkids will not get to see the beauty of the swans. The person who killed the swan should get his hunting license taken away, because he killed a protected animal. He should also have to spend time in jail. People should not kill animals so amazing and graceful.
