Indians routed in Everett

EVERETT, Wash. – Mickey Wiswall hit a grand slam – one of four Everett home runs – in a six-run third inning as the AquaSox beat the Spokane Indians 10-1 on Sunday at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Three Everett pitchers limited Spokane to five singles. The Indians scored their run on Alejandro Selen’s sacrifice fly in the second inning that drove in Brett Nicholas.

Nicholas McBride (1-2) took the loss for Spokane, allowing seven runs – all earned – on eight hits over four innings. He stuck out three and walked one.

Willy Kesler (1-2) earned the win in relief, allowing two hits over three scoreless innings while striking out three.

The Indians and AquaSox conclude their five-game series tonight at 7:05.
