Gonzaga Bulldogs

RECORD: 25-5 overall, 12-2 WCC

COMING UP: Sunday, WCC semifinals at Las Vegas, 5:30 p.m., ESPN2

OUTLOOK: The Bulldogs, who are considered a lock for the NCAA tournament, won’t know their opponent until Saturday night at about 8. Fifth-seeded Loyola Marymount faces No. 8 Pepperdine Friday, with the winner taking on No. 4 San Francisco. Gonzaga’s WCC losses were to LMU and USF. Both teams have guards who can penetrate. Gonzaga has played in the title game 12 consecutive years, winning nine times. “You want to be playing well this time of year and you want to keep getting better,” GU guard Matt Bouldin said. “Usually those are the teams that tend to make a run in the NCAA tournament.”
