Jerome County teen dies after falling off tractor

Associated Press

EDEN, Idaho – The Jerome County Sheriff’s Office said a 15-year-old boy has died after being run over by a tractor on which he had been riding with his father.

Sheriff Doug McFall said it’s unclear how the boy fell off the tractor on Saturday evening between the towns of Eden and Hazelton.

McFall said emergency responders performed CPR before the boy was taken by air ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, where he was pronounced dead.

The boy’s name has not been released.
