Police locate missing disabled woman

Police today located a developmentally disabled, vulnerable woman who went missing yesterday. Mollie Torkelson, 24, was found near Monroe Street and Sinto Avenue after several people called police to report seeing her in that area, police said. Torkelson, who has the mental capacity of a 6-year-old, went missing yesterday from her home on the 1400 block of N. Adams Street. In a news release, police thanked those who helped locate her.
