The weather through the weekend should be a little bit sunnier, a little bit drier and a little bit warmer than it has been in recent days. But the weather will still have the distinct feel of early spring. Highs in the Spokane area may reach the middle 50s today through Sunday and the lower 50s in Coeur d’Alene. Sunny weather is expected throughout the day today. The National Weather Service said that a low pressure system that brought snow showers on Wednesday and Thursday has moved south of the region. Lows tonight will be chilly in the low 30s and patchy fog is possible through the early hours on Saturday. Partly sunny skies are likely on Saturday. Clouds begin to build on Sunday from a storm off the Pacific coast, but the day should be fairly dry until evening. The mountains will have greater chances of snow or rain showers on Sunday. Rain is likely Sunday night as a cold front passes across the region and cools temperatures back to the upper 40s on Monday. The colder air could cause some snow showers by Monday. The cool and showery pattern resumes next week, forecasters said. The cold air on Thursday brought record daily lows to Pullman, at 24, Mullan Pass, at 16, and Pomeroy, at 19. At 7 a.m., it was 31 at Spokane International Airport, 28 at Felts Field and Coeur d’Alene, 25 in Deer Park and 33 in Pullman.
