Two Coeur d’Alene men stabbed during home invasion

(AP) — Two North Idaho men who police say invaded a home and stabbed two occupants have been taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated battery and robbery. Coeur d’Alene police said Jacob R. Selaci, 21, and Wesley D. Celestine, 22, were taken into custody Saturday, the Coeur d’Alene Press reported. Police say the two Coeur d’Alene men entered the home through an unlocked front door early Saturday morning. Two 20-year-old men in the home were stabbed and were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Kootenai Medical Center, police said. Descriptions the injured men provided caused investigators to recognize Selaci and Celestine from previous encounters with law enforcement officials, police said.
