Gonzaga Bulldogs outlook

RECORD: 13-5 overall, 3-0 WCC

COMING UP: Today at Santa Clara, 6 p.m. (ESPNU), Saturday at USF, 5 p.m. (KHQ)

OUTLOOK: The Bulldogs embark on their first WCC road trip. The Leavey Center has been a tough venue for the Zags, even though they haven’t lost there since February 2000. GU trailed last year by 14 in the second half before dominating the final 10 minutes. Santa Clara led midway through the second half two years ago, but GU rallied to win. Three years ago, SCU’s Brody Angley inexplicably fouled Steven Gray 65 feet from Gonzaga’s basket with 0.3 seconds left. Gray made two free throws to send the game to OTand GU won 87-82. For Saturday’s opponent, the Dons, Michael Williams is fourth nationally in 3-point accuracy (50 percent).
