Cooler weather will warm for holiday weekend

Our current cooler-than-normal temperatures will warm over the next couple of days, until the region reaches an expected high near 87 on Labor Day. The National Weather Service says dry weather will return to the Inland Northwest, with above-normal temperatures into early next week. First, though, we’ve got to get through lower-than-normal temperatures today and tomorrow, with expected highs both days in the mid-70s, and nighttime temperatures hovering around 50. Warming will begin Saturday, with an expected high of 81, jumping to an expected high near 87 on Sunday.
