Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 5, 2012, in Spokane, WA, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born August 9, 1938, in Dayton, WA.

She attended Dayton School District, K-12th grade, and graduated with the class of 1956.

During her childhood she worked at the Green Giant canning factory in Dayton, WA.

She married Dennis Moore in February of 1959 and they had three children.

She later worked for the Clarkston School District as a secretary, and retired with the American Automobile Association after 27 years of service.

She was a member of the Spokane Dream Center located in Spokane Valley, where she served her Lord Jesus with her voice on the worship team as well as the Easter drama for the past 14 years.

She also sang at many weddings and funerals in her lifetime.
Linda is survived by her sister, Barbara Carter of Walla Walla, WA; her three children, Lisa (Jason) Durham of Belfair, WA, Craig (Rebecca) Moore of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Gina (Dane) Pettis of Everett, WA.

She was known to 13 grandchildren as well as many countless friends as “Grandma Darlin’.”

She was also known as G.G.

to one special great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, Edward and Birdie Alcorn; sister, Esther Broadhead; and brother, Charles Alcorn.


A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at 4:00 PM, at the Spokane Dream Center Church, 2128 N. Pines Rd., #2, Spokane Valley, WA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her church family at Spokane Dream Center.
