DEWAELE, Bernice Lucille
(Age 86)

Bernice was born June 19, 1925 in Seattle, WA to Alrik and Blanche Sundquist and she entered in to Eternal Life with our Savior on April 23, 2012.

Bernice was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and her love, generosity, and wisdom will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She lived a long and full life and was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Bill Dewaele, with whom she had many adventures.

Bernice is survived by her sister Eloise Marie Sundquist, five children; Jeannine, Robert, Susan, Richard, and Michael as well as nine grandchildren; Shauna, Shannon, Shera, Sheena, Mark, Karen, William, Savannah, Andrea, and Jennifer and one great-granddaughter, Sahara.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Manor Care Nursing Home in Spokane for the loving care they gave to Bernice.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and a Rosary Vigil will be Friday, April 27 at 1:00 pm, both at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, 2203 N Division St. A private Mass will be held at Mount St. Michael Rectory.
