Phyllis J. Granly was born May 22, 1927 and passed away April 23, 2012 at age 84.

Her parents were Olive and George Protherough.

She lived in Spokane and Spokane Valley all her life, graduated from West Valley High School and attended Washington State Univer- sity.

Phyllis married the love of her life Adolph R. Granly on November 30, 1947.

She was a loving and caring person; taught Sunday school for over twenty years, was a Campfire leader, was a caregiver for the elderly for many years and was a great lover of animals.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Adolph, sons Robert and Jay Granly, daughter Jolene Granly, daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4th at 2pm at Thornhill Valley Chapel at 1400 S. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.
