Born and raised in Australia, Irene was very proud of her Australian heritage and was involved with Anzac’s well into her 70’s.

Irene moved to the US where she later met and married John Bushby and raised three children: Russell Bushby (Sylvia), Barbara Renz (Jim), and John Bushby (Brenda).

She was the proud grandmother of four.

Tammie, Andrew, Stuart and Johnathen.

John and Irene owned and operated Bushby’s Resort at Diamond Lake then settled in Colbert.

Irene enjoyed traveling with John in their motorhome nearly every winter until just a few years ago.
