Estella J.
(Age 86)

Passed away August 14, 2012 at Royal Park Care Center where she has resided for the last 10 years.

Estella was born in Spokane, WA in 1926 to Hazel and Rollo Frazier.

She married William L. Summers in April 1945.



Mrs.

Summers was one of the first women bus drivers in Spokane in 1954 with Spokane City Lines.

After an extended absence, she returned to Spokane Transit where she held several positions before her retirement as Payroll Specialist in 1992.

After retirement, Estella and Bill enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William who passed away in November 1993, her brother, Lloyd Frazier, sister, Kathleen Fleming and sister Barbara Frazier.

Estella is survived by her two children, Charles T. Summers and Geraldine K. (and Michael) Allen; three grandchildren, Carlos E. Summers, Michelle L. (and Robert) Davis and Christopher T. Allen; and one great-grandchild, Grace Elizabeth Davis, and several nieces and nephews.

Estella’s family would like to express thanks and gratitude for the tender loving care she received at Royal Park Care Center.
