Idaho men’s basketball coach Don Verlin announced the Vandals’ 2012-13 schedule on Tuesday, including back-to-back road games against New Mexico and Washington State.

“It’s the best schedule we’ve had since I’ve been here, bar none,” the fifth-year coach said.

Idaho’s nonconference home schedule includes Montana, Wright State, Green Bay and UC Davis.

The Vandals will also play a neutral-site game at CenturyLink Arena in Boise against Boise State.

Men’s soccer

Andre Lawyer scored twice as Community Colleges of Spokane opened its season with a 7-0 win over Shoreline at Tukwila, Wash.

Devon Prince added one goal and two assists for the Sasquatch.

Women’s soccer

Alli Floyd and Laura Seymour scored as CC Spokane opened its season with a 2-0 win over Green River at Tukwila, Wash.

Chelsea Simmet set up Seymour’s goal at 88 minutes.
