HORLACHER, Homer
(Age 87)

Longtime resident of St. John, Washington passed away August 27, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

Mr. Horlacher was born October 23, 1924 to William and Gertrude (Leitz) Horlacher in Rosalia and was a graduate of Rosalia High School, class of 1942.

He married Helen Wyrick on September 6, 1947 in Spokane.

Homer was raised on the farm and farmed for himself and also worked for others.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, working with wood and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Horlacher; children, Darlene Kinney and her friend Stanley Cox, Ronald Horlacher (Janice), Sandra Fletcher (Travis), Fayetta Cornthwaite (John) and Karen Mahoney (Jim); 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rosalia Ambulance Fund in his memory.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, at the Rosalia IOOF Cemetery.

A dinner will follow at the St. John Community Center at 4:00 p.m.
