Coming up: Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 12-14 overall, 6-7 Big Sky

COMING UP: Saturday at Cal Irvine, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK: There isn’t a lot riding on this game, apart from an unexpected gift for several players, including seniors Cliff Ederaine, Tremayne Johnson and Laron Griffin, who get to play one more time in front of friends and family in Southern California. Cal Irvine is 9-17 overall and 5-8 in the Big West Conference. Daman Starring and Michael Wilder average 12 points each for the Anteaters, who have lost four straight after falling to UC Santa Barbara 85-62 on Wednesday night. Irvine owns a 78-67 home win over Seattle Pacific, which beat visiting EWU 91-78 on Jan. 16. The Eagles return to Big Sky action Feb. 23 at Idaho State.
