Fourth person dies from Jan. 1 accident

A fourth person has died from injuries sustained in a New Year’s Day accident outside Reardon. Kenneth C. McIntyre, 52, died on Friday at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. The man was a passenger in a 2006 Toyota Scion driven by Kacey EJ McIntyre, 19. According to Washington State Patrol, The Scion was eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 and crossed the centerline, colliding with a 2007 Subaru Impreza driven by Benito M. Flores, 66. Kacey McIntyre, Flores and McIntyre’s passenger Faith Proctor all died the night of the accident.
