Ronald Earl DesChamps passed away peacefully on June 14, 2012 under the care of Hospice of Spokane.

Ron was born on February 17, 1933 in Coeur d’ Alene, Id to Wilber and Molly DesChamps.

The family later moved to Kettle Falls where Ron graduated from high school.

After graduation Ron served in the Army.

Returning to Spokane he met his wife of 49 years Laurel Dennis and worked for Kaiser Mead and retired in supervision after 38.5 years.

At the time of his death Ron was surrounded by many family members.

He is survived by wife Laurel at the home and brother Douglas of Post Falls, ID.

Children Susan Deyarmin (Jim), Douglas Dennis (Jody), Bradley DesChamps (Christina), and Kerry Taylor.

Grandchildren include Brandon Deyarmin (Sasha), Dawn Foote (Robby), Michelle Gessner (Robert), PJ Dennis (Shannon), Brooke and Paige Gallaway, and Spencer Taylor, as well as 15 great- grandchildren.

There will be a private memorial held later with family members.
