Coming up: Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 14-16 overall, 8-8 Big Sky

COMING UP: Saturday vs. Idaho State, 2 p.m. at Reese Court.

OUTLOOK: Things couldn’t have gone better Tuesday night, but in this unique best-of-3 series, only the final game matters. It helps that Idaho State, with four straight losses, must fly to Pocatello and back in the next two days. It’s even better that the Eagles are peaking at the right time, playing what coach Jim Hayford calls their most complete game of the season. In two games against ISU, the Eagles have shot 46 percent from the field and averaged 12 assists and 4 1/2 blocks. They’re taking care of the ball, committing just 24 turnovers compared with 32 for the Bengals. They also stayed out of foul trouble, with no player getting whistled more than three times.
