MITCHELL, Gerald D.
“Joe”, “Jody”, “Jerry,” “Mitch”

Passed away at the age of 85.

Born on April 25, 1927 in Spokane, WA.

He is survived by his children, Jan (Dick), Judy (John), Jeanne (George), Joline (Scott), Jacki and Jeff; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Yeager; and brothers, Donald Mitchell and Roland Mitchell.

In death he will be joining his beloved partner, Ellen Banting, his parents, Ivan and Iza Mitchell, his sister, Beverly Mitchell and brothers, Robert Mitchell and Howard Mitchell.

He was a hard working, energetic man who always had a project to do after retiring from Kaiser Aluminum in 1982.

Jerry served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1946.

He was loved by his family, his neighbors and his devoted dog, “Shania.”

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.
