Fay, 84, a former longtime resident of Spokane, WA peacefully passed away in Oakland, CA.

Fay was born in Canton, China.


She was predeceased by her husband Harry Din Huey.

Both Fay and Harry were part-owners and operators of the Far East Restaurant on East Sprague in Spokane from 1958 to 1984.

Fay is survived by her sons: Phillip Huey (Margaret), Raleigh, NC, Warren Huey (Nancy), Spokane, WA, daughters: Lily Lee (Sam) San Ramon, CA, Dorothy Leong and fiancĂŠ Doug Nakaya, Castro Valley, CA; grandsons: Gregory Lee, San Ramon, CA, Ryan Leong, Castro Valley, CA; granddaughters: Tracy Huey-Satkamp (Gregg), Raleigh, NC, Tiffany Corta (Walter), Raleigh, NC, Lindsay Huey, Raleigh, NC, Rachel Lee, San Ramon, CA, Erin Leong, Castro Valley, CA, Ashley Leong, Fremont, CA; sisters-in-law: Rita Huey of San Francisco, CA and Judy Lee of Spokane, WA and former son-in-law, Steve Leong of San Leandro, CA.



A private memorial service to celebrate her life was held at Riverside Mausoleum and officiated by Pastor Gregory Thornton.

Fay was buried at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery.
