No one injured: A West Central neighborhood home was the target of an attempted arson on Monday morning, according to the Spokane police. Police spokeswoman Jennifer DeRuwe said a flaming rag was thrown through the front window of a home in the 1800 block of West Gardner Avenue around 6:20 a.m. Police and federal authorities are investigating the fire as a possible hate crime.
