Police investigating Spokane gun thefts

From staff reports
Police are looking for a man who may be involved with the overnight theft of six guns from Spokane Valley home. The theft occurred in the 2600 block of north Park Road where the homeowner also said jewelry was taken, says Spokane County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Craig Chamberlin. An investigation into the incident brought deputies to the city limits of Spokane where a possible suspect identified as 28-year-old Grant D. Brough, was thought to be located. Detectives approached a home near Hemlock Street and Fairview Avenue and saw the suspect leave the home in a car with an adult female as a passenger. Detectives tried to make a traffic stop, but a pursuit ensued. Chamberlin says Grough fled his vehicle, leaving the woman behind in the car, and police were unable to locate him. A search warrant is being served on the home to learn his whereabouts. Two of the guns have been recovered, says Chamberlin.
